A Central Florida restaurateur has signed a deal to bring Wahlburgers — a Boston-based fast-casual burger concept owned by brothers Paul, Donnie and Mark Wahlberg — to the Sunshine State.

Manny Garcia will open 20 Wahlburger locations in Florida over the next several years, Orlando restaurant writer Scott Joseph reports. The franchise agreement was officially announced Thursday morning.

Wahlburgers in Hingham, Mass., is the subject of the A&E show “Wahlburgers.”

Joseph reports that Garcia, who also once owned the franchise rights to most of the region’s Burger King restaurants, could not comment on where or when the first Florida Wahlburgers location would open, but he did say the restaurants would operate under his company Davgar Holdings LLC.

The Boston Globe reports that the first Florida Wahlburgers will likely be in the Orlando area, and Garcia said he will look for locations in Miami and Tampa as well.
