‘Donnie Loves Jenny,’ a reality series focusing on marriage of Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy, set for A&E
The ‘Blue Bloods’ actor and his SiriusXM host wife, who will also serve as producers, will kick off their 10-episode first season with a one-hour special on their wedding.
You just knew this one had way too much celebrity juice not to end up on television.”Donnie Loves Jenny,” a reality show about the marriage of Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy, will debut early next year on A&E.
Scheduled to run 10 episodes in its first season, it will premiere with a one-hour episode on their recent wedding. The remaining nine episodes will each be a half hour.
There also shouldn’t be any issues of creative control. Wahlberg and McCarthy will serve as executive producers.
Wahlberg currently stars on the CBS hit “Blue Bloods,” while McCarthy just started a daily radio show on SiriusXM.
They issued a joint statement on the new TV project, which reads, “Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network.
“We’re so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming
“Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together.”
