Fangirling: Nick Carter, Jordan Knight release music video, new song from upcoming album ‘Nick & Knight’

NICK & KNIGHT

New Kid On The Block's Jordan Knight, left, and Backstreet Boy's Nick Carter pose for a portrait in promotion of their upcoming album "Nick and Knight", on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in New York. (Photo by Dan Hallman/Invision/AP)

As previously stated, I first reported about Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and New Kid on the Block member Jordan Knight working on a secret project together back in January and it was confirmed at the end of April when I was featured on not one, but two webcast interviews with the two singers.

The side project they are doing is called Nick and Knight, and pop fans, get ready to have your brains melted with magic.

As a fan of both groups, you could tell the chemistry that Nick and Jordan had together as NKOTBSB (the mega-group both bands formed for a 2011-2012 world tour). That chemistry is still there with Nick and Knight.

While the boys released the single for “One More Time” on iTunes a few weeks back, the music video was released Monday. The boys pretend to be photographers in the music video. Nick with a camera? Yes.

The album became available for preorder on Tuesday. With the pre-order on iTunes, you receive “One More Time” and another song, called “Paper.”

Maybe it’s a little egotistical, but I was hoping “Paper” was about me calling out their project. However, it’s a sexy song that really showcases the boys’ voices, but there’s this odd robot in the midst of it. Well, it’s their voices with a robot twist to it.

Next week, another song will be released to those that preorder. The full album is out on Sept. 2 and their tour kicks off on Sept. 15 in Nashville. I will be there and they will be coming to Atlanta on Nov. 14. Yes, I will be there, too.

Head over to NickandKnight.com for more information about tickets, the album and to see the video.
